Just got back from hosptial!

Well ive just got back from hosptial after spending a night there!

I was taken to hopsital from college yesterdat at about 1:30 because all of a sudden i went really badly dizzy(like when you lay down drunk and close your eyes) and i kept falling over to the left and couldnt walk straight.
About 2:30 i saw a doctor that checked me out, i had to all sorts of hand-eye co-ordination tests, reflex tests etc, she mentioned that she doesnt think my brain has gone crazy and it might be my inner-ear getting an infection but wanted a second opinion. She sat us down outside and said the second opinion would be only a few minutes.

It was taking ages (been waiting about an hour) then i got taken to a ward,got given a bed etc and signed in there, i was thinking woah am i going to have to spend the night, i dont want to etc. Anyway the second opinion finally came AT AROUND 12PM, yes thats a hell of a long wait. They bascially said just to make sure im ok they are going to do blood tests,keep me in over night etc.

Woke up this morning, a doctor came over with about 5student doctors wrighting notes down about me :o , examindd me etc, said i just had an infection in my inner ear which makes you feel like your hammered.

Got discharged and just got home now.

Was abit of a crazy experiance really, i was scared of been dizzy after a while because it freaked me out and i didnt know what it was.

In the time i was there i still managed to browse OCUK on the TV internet lol, during having 5 POWER CUTS this morning!!

Just thought i'd tell you all my experiance.

P.s - sorry for spelling mistakes im abit tired
Pps - there was a guy next to me who got bitten by a mosquito in this country, it swelled up, then he got blood posioning, then he got pneumonia! Poor fella his leg was in a right state.

Oh no, they didnt give me ANY medication :rolleyes:

Just going to take some stuff we have in the cupboard that is for colds/ear probles/flu etc
 
I had an ear infection once.. In both ears!!

I just gritted my teeth, took out my keyboard shield and roundhoused the infection back to the coast, to which i said "Lollercoast..err"..

When i was having these tests done, i had to stand with my eyes shut and my arms out like a zombie, next thing i knew my arms had fallen to the left and hit the wall, i didnt even realise they were falling!
 
was at the hospital last night as well , had to drive my mum down to see her brother who'd collapsed, got back about 4 this morning so been up all night now i've got to go to the football in 30 mins and try and stay awake :(

Saw some right mess while we were waiting to been seen, had one guy who'd been beaten senseless with a bat, a section of his head looked like it'd caved in and it really looked like he eye or his eye socket was a mess.

Then had this girl come in who had been out on the razz last night and apparently tried messing with a dog, the dog had taken a big chunk of her bingo wing off :eek:

man I got say the nurses and doctors etc do a hell of a job seeing that sort of thing on a daily basis

I'd get yourself along to your GP bud, the quicker it clears, the less aggro for you.
 
I had this for 2 months, but not so extreme. I got quite used to it. Dr did nothing for me whatsoever. I wasbeing accused of faking it it, but not directly!!! :rolleyes:

Hope yours clears up faster.
 
Yeh i think a few people thought i was faking it, as its really hard to see the symptoms if you arnt having them!

How did you clear yours? did it just go naturally ?
