Just Got My 226BW

After all the reading on panels...it has arrived and is perfect no idea what the Panel is as there is nothing on the sticker.

One problem

Trying to play TDU but thats set to 1440x900 and its just constantly flicking from the game to desktop type of thing.......how to I get into the game to change the setting???

I have the same screen - good choice!

As for the 1440x900 flicking i would ask if you have the most up to date graphics driver and also if TDU is fully patched.

Sort those and the problem should sort itself out.

Also it may be worth going to windows update to check you have the most recent driver for the monitor and other components in your PC.

(As they're so complicated it can be very difficult to track down the cause.)

Mt other games are fine....

I downloaded the latest driver for the monitor but not the graphics driver. The game is patched.

It flickers like on my old crt as my desktop was a t a higher res then what i played with....so it flickered to change, but the monitor dosnt want nothing to do with it .

Will try a later driver for the GPU

Sounds odd!

If you reduce detail/aa/af etc will it play at 1680x1050 at all?

IMO i find with that res' of 1600 and above anti-aliasing really isn't needed.

Iv sorted it now...Had driver 7.7 but now have 7.8 that seemed to have reset everything in game.

I couldnt even get into the game to change the res ley alone the AA etc

I guess you not sure what I meant by the flickering.

Monitor flickers almost on and off to reset the res being displayed..or it may even be the GPU flickering it on and off, so it was trying to change the res to 1440/900 but I quess the monitor wont display that....I expect that was why it was just a constant on and off flickering type of thing.
