Same as a PC7?

Edit: 1cm less than the PC7 and 7 more than the super lanboy

Doesn't stop it being deep :p

Would have been a nice alternative for the Silverstone if it wasn't so deep.

That's a bit like saying it would be a great alternative to a Sugo if it wasn't so tall isn't it?

I've just got a PC-08 in to look at, and it's actually not very good in my opinion. It's REALLY tight inside, there is very little clearance between the optical drives and the PSU and the Abit LG-81 motherboard I'm using actually fouls the lower optical drive so it's only useful for a fan controller or something very shallow.

The inside is paper-thin too. I have to say it does look the absolute dogs from the front though

Naturally, I'll be ordering a V600B as it looks more like the sort of thing we're after - high end micro-server territory.

^^^LOL

Congrats on the new case it looks sweet! I hope you get it sorted with a new CPU cooler. Hey I just noticed you live in Lincoln too

Yeah she is one long case, it's longer than my good old cheiftec dragon anyway, I've ordered the zalman cooler thats on special so hopefully i'll get that soon, then i can see how everything goes in.

Can't find V1000 wheels for sale anywhere, so looks like i might have to give up on that idea, although i'm liking the Lian-Li Fan Controller now, looks sweet on yewens website :D

Although, it does not control the fans, or to any degree of user intervention I have found, just good temperature monitor as it is quite acurate from my humble test.

*points out the v600 is full ATX not micro*

I know that, but in terms of the overall size of the cases, there isn't much difference other than the depth. I think it's fair to say the only reason to buy a MicroATX board is to get a smaller case, and these pretty much are competitors.

Yes...but you wouldnt buy a micro ATX board for this case, you would the sugo so they arent in direct competition.

My point was you cannot compare the two as they are diferent standards, a super lanboy would be the closest to the v600 in terms of size and functionality but the lian li just looks so much better and is higher quality.

Lian Li's competitor for the Sugo will be the V300, then you'll be comparing mATX with mATX.

The V600 certainly looks nice, I prefer my V1000b+ for a desktop system though, especially with it's window. Doesn't look like the inside of a V600 will ever be nice to look at.
If I wanted a smaller system I'd go for the V300 (which I'm seriously considering for a second pc)
The V600 is just stuck in between for me.

That case looks awesome, seriously considering one of these myself now. Not so big on overlcocking anymore, i just like small quiet cases, and this looks like it will do the job really nicely.
