Just installed 5600x (coming from Intel) what settings do I need to change

still using Rumus plan atm. but it is given me some weird HDD spin up behaviour which i didnt have before. I did update to the latest AMD chipset driver.

This only applies to Zen 3 I believe

Also side question, what's software can I use to control my case fans, as I cannot get MSI Dragon Centre to work despite trying everything. I can set it in the BIOS but it's fairly limited. I can only set about 5 points on the graph.

Yeah. Interesting, it must be true - I wonder why you need it on the previous Ryzen's and not this - alas I haven't read any info on the reasons.

I read it was something to do with Windows not handling the cpu correctly, and causing parking cores. There was some more complex stuff but that was the gist. Parking / Sleep

Guess they have reworked something this gen to fix that.
