Got to say it's the tightest fit I've ever had, I think I had 1mm to spare between the drive bays and the card and took a hell of a lot of maneouvering to get it in.

I have a large Thermaltake Soprano case, currently running okay with my Thermaltake 500w PSU, haven't really forced it yet though ;o))

Quick question, the fans seem loud in comparison to the 1950 xtx I just removed, is this normal?? from what I recall the 1950 would only ramp up the fans in games but run in a quite low power mode most of the time.

The fans sound about as loud as my 1950 xtx when it was running a game, this is loud just sitting in windows.

Is this normal for on of these???

Got to say the picture quality is far better then my 1950 xtx:D

The fan should be whisper quiet in the desktop and pretty much the same in games, mine was. However if you have limited air flow then the card would probably spin up to compensate.

Try running with the side panel off and see if that makes any difference. Would be worth checking the temps for idle and load via Ntune.

tell me about it,had to cut away some of my hardrive bays away to get it in,but its worked out better as my fan is blowing straight on it,p.s ive got your case and couldnt get it in,as for fan ive got mine on 75% all the time and can hardly hear it
