"Create a folder on your desktop called networking programs or files, and drag the icons for those files or programs in there. You can then create a new toolbar by right clicking on the taskbar, go to toolbars, and add new toolbar. I already have network and connect to on my start menu. By doing the above all it does is link to the folder with the shortcuts in...a shortcut to a shortcut. What the hell are Microsoft thinking not allowing simple shortcuts to network locations on the start menu?
Easiest way i can find at the moment is to have a folder just above the start menu called start menu. In this folder are links to network files
