Just bought a 1TB WD HDD which came without any cables. I'm pretty sure that I just need a SATA 3 cable but just want to make sure, is this right?

I will be buying a SSD at the end of the month and that will probably not come with any cables either so will that need the same cable?

Any cable will do !!!!! SATA 2/3 there are all the same performance wise

Yeah you just need sata cables which are all much of a muchness. They normally come with the motherboard which is why there aren't any with the drives.

Just checked in the motherboard box and your right, there's two in their!! Cheers guys.
