Hey guys here's my build

build.jpg

The power supply I want is out of stock
Thermaltake Smart M550W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply

and the CPU cooler is only available to pre order
Corsair Hydro H80 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler *Manufacturer Refurbished Unit - 90 Day Guarantee

does anyone know when these coolers become available?
also could you spec me a similar power supply and cpu cooler, so I can order sooner rather than later. Thanks :)

You could use the stock cooler until you get the H80. There are good air cooler alternatives for under £40.

Lots of good PSU options around 500-650W - Seasonic, Be Quiet, XFX, etc. are always good. Does it need to be modular?

hey man yeah good call on using the stock cooler till this one comes out.

Doesn't need to be modular no. Just looking for a reliable PSU that's gonna be able to run this ok.

Go for Seasonic internals, beware, if a product included in the order is not instock, the entire order will be held back.

The above PSU's are good, I'd go for the Seasonic or XFX personally.

That is a great looking spec. I have been running a single S2340L for a couple of months with no problems at all. I have found that I get a better text quality by using DVI instead of HDMI with an adapter.

Why is nobody recommending Corsair PSU's here?

The CX series isn't really as good as the similar priced competition from XFX etc. The HX ones are good, but they're much more expensive, and you're getting close in price to the best Seasonic ones (some of the best PSUs you can get).

I think some HX models are still made by Seasonic, but they're not the same as the high end branded Seasonic models. The HX-850 is a good PSU, but it's definitely not made by Seasonic (it's CWT, same as the CX ones).
