Just noticed a shocking trend

This is who I was going to mention along with the comment around it's not just the mullet, it's often paired with the 70's porn starn mustache...

I was in Spain a couple of weeks back and we were chuckling at some young Australian cyclists sporting the mullet/mustache combo.

It's when you know you're old when horrible fashions come back around again I'm afraid.

I popped into a bar for a quick half while waiting for someone the other week and thought I'd walked into the middle of some sort of 90s theme student fancy dress pub crawl.

Nope, it's just fashionable again.
Certain parts of New Zealand do favour the unironic mullet. It is not okay.

We went swimming at the weekend and this guy was the spitting image of our of those 118 runners. His tash was pretty impressive. I've noticed when I take my 6 year old to his rugby matches there are quite a few dodgy hair cuts (although tends to be the rougher side of town). Intact one of the local rugby players has a very wtf hairstyle, I'll try and find a pic.

I saw a group of proper greebo's the other day, wallet chain and baggies, reminded me of being 15! God those big baggies were a stupid idea, I absolutely loved them at the time however.

I’m not sure what period mullets are really from, but looking at the teenagers around here the nineties definitely called and want their fashion back. Baggy trousers, baggy everything especially for the girls. Blame Billie Eilish.

Damm i wish i had hair, always wanted a mullet, but younger self never had the courage to wear with such a fine mane with pride.
