ordered myself a PS3 bundle..
got
Motorstorm,
Resistance - Fall Of Man,
extra Controller.
oh and a PS3 console to go with it :p
£400

ive recently turned to the darkside by selling my x1900 xt and getting a 8800 GTX.
have i gone to far this time....?

ive had my xbox360 from the first day it was released and "im loving it",
im also very happy with my Wii :D
i take it you can add friends etc on it like xboxlive ?
to the people who have got a PS3 what are your thoughts on the console?

ive just had a email off the site i orderd it from to say i should have it , its being delivered by Parcel Force

I think youve defiantly made a good choice! Resistance is amazing! Youll be hooked for days! I love motorstorm, though it is quite hard (which is a good thing!) And yes...you can add buddys. Id also recommend ninja gaiden.

Was that the new starter pack you brought?
 
yeah its the starter pack what ive got, should be here tomorrow fingers crossed :)
im interested in going online to see how it will compare with xboxlive,
ive just been checking out some videos for ninja gaiden so i think i will be getting that some time soon ;)

Good console, lack of games that aren't on 360/PC, lack of games that appeal to me this year, no MGS4 this year for example :< and online service is lacking at the moment.

Took mine back to HMV so I could upgrade my PC, gonna rebuy next year when MGS4/FF13 are out.
 
watching E3 this year made my mind up about getting a PS3 .
i know there arnt that many games out for it that arnt on the xbox360 but there seems to be loads in the pipeline and buy the time ive played the ones that are out now new ones should be out.
looks like there are going to be some killer games on it this year.
anyone here with both xbox360 and a PS3? if so how do you decied what console to get you games on, for instance Call of Duty 3 . i take it they are the same in each system. is it a case of just buy for which ever is cheapest ?

Or, if it's an EA game, get it on Xbox360 for its 60fps.

Personally I really like the PS3, it's a brilliant console only let down by its software and minor flaws (lack of friends/messaging etc... when in game being my primary pain), but the potential is definitely there for it to be a great console. For me it offers nothing better than the Xbox360 in terms of system features though which is a shame.

I'm sure you'll love it though.

Madden is confirmed as 60 fps on the PS3 now.

Blimey - just realised - all 3 consoles & a decent PC to go on top. Someone is not gonna be bored anytime soon :D
 
Enjoy yourself you'll have fun with Resistance but just give it time dont judge it on its first few levels. And you have to play it online its great fun. You can play Co-op as well at least you'll get some use out of the 2nd controller. Dont forget to get a couple of BD films at some point.
Theres a couple of PSN games worth getting personally I would get GT HD, Tekken 5 DR (on line next month woo!) and Super Stardust HD, think that will cost you about £14 for them as GT hD is free.
 
Yeah - I use mine mostly for blu-ray films - I watch em on a 1080p LCD ;)

Anyway - Planet Earth is a must- it'll make your eyes pop out of your head.

What screen are you using ?.
 
just been looking at Tekken 5 DR , looks amazing. im a big fan of Tekken games.
gonna check out the blu-ray films as well
im using a samsung 32" LCD but wouldnt mind a 40" LCD, 1080p might be the way to go :)
