Sorry. I do actually own both consoles. So my opinion is valid.
Sorry if you PS3 fan boys can't handle the truth.. It really is a shoddy rushed panic of a console. Waiting a year for anything to happen in just not good enough.

Sony got the psp spot on but with PS3 they really let all PS fans down.

I mean sheesh they even forgot to put the e on the end of Blue ( the laser colour if I am not mistaken).

I am glad so many of you felt the need to rejustify all of my points with useless answers. £40 pa is not a lot of money when you take the product into account. At least MS have the resources, will and money to provide their customers with a good service.

At least Sony offer dedicated hosting to their multiplayer games for FREE.

Nope, I do believe that the PS3 was rushed out because Sony realised they couldn't leave a 2 year gap for the software to be released whilst at the same time delivering hardware that isn't really anymore powerful than the Xbox360.

The Xbox360 was released at exactly the right time and has had consistent cycles of high quality games around April and August since its launch, a good launch lineup and some good games released in between.

Sony still haven't gotten those key games out yet, despite what will be a 2 year differential between Xbox360 launch and major titles for the PS3.

To state the Xbox360 was 'rushed' is wrong.

I was not talking about software, i am talking about the hardware. You know, the small issue of the RoD and reliability issues. In my eyes it was rushed out without the proper performance testing and such forth.

It wasn't 'rushed' out though, it didn't have to rush out as there was zero competition. It was however put out with a bad design. This would have still been the issue later on in its life (as has become apparent as new ones still die).

I agree. They had great timing and read the market well. Shame their product testing team let them down but it was definitely not rushed. People who constantly claim it's rushed are yet another example of people letting others do the thinking for them.

How do we know it was not rushed out, Do you have proof of this or is it your personal point of view. I stand by what i said, they rushed it out to get a good lead on the competition without testing it correctly. If they did not rush it out then this is even worse in my eyes as they knowingly did not test it correctly or ignored the fact they over heat, i am currently on my thirs and find it disgusting that it was released in its current state. I will leave it here as i am starting to sound like some sort of fan boy which i are`nt as i enjoy all my three consoles and have no loyality to any.

Only decent exclusives are RFOM (Well, I hated RFOM awful campaign, story and AI) and Motorstorm, oh yeah NG:Sigma if you ain't played the Xbox version.
