apart from the outer casing, the phone should look and perform as a brand new phone 
not much else to say really.. although, you shouldnt expect to have original box, packaging, extras, etc. they'll provide the battery and charger though
btw i refer to reconditioned phones in general - o2 might be kind enough to make it all look new
