Just ordered my first 'L'

I didn't get home till late so just took some inside which don't do show it off too well. Infact my old lens looked just as sharp so I'm hoping outdoor it will show what its capable of. Will get some later

I think you may have bought the wrong lens then.

f/1.8 is £69
f/1.4 is £200 ish

Only if you buy from the bay. If you send him a PM on TP forums you
get it cheaper. It was down to £48 del, but think its gone up to £52 reading
some threads on there
