just ordered myself one of these Jonsplus Z20

I love that MATX is coming more into popularity now, probably due to the fact that ITX motherboards costs an arm and a leg.

I've built a few MATX recently and have been impressed. They seem very good value, too. I've suddenly started to question whether I really need full-sized boards now.

This is exactly why i moved to ITX, the compact size means i can build a much smaller computer that can fit anywhere on my desk or off. The only thing i miss is being able to fit more than 2 or 3 nvme drives but it's never that big of a deal as i can just buy a bigger size drive  .

I'm starting to think that plugging a massive gfx card into an ITX board makes no sense. The 3+ slots the gfx card takes up might as well be used by MATX - it will be cheaper and have more M.2 slots.

This z20 case is a perfect example of that. @wattsy has it arrived yet?

I do use ITX for my builds mostly but yes for a 2nd build or building for friends then mATX has made a lot of sense.

I like this case plus the Deepcool CH160 but the mATX support is a big positive. I would personally still install an SFX PSU in either despite the extra cost due to how much more space you gain.

Both annoyingly hard to get hold of though.

Just going to mention the Jonsbo N3 case for a good all-round project case that can do serious storage and a modest gaming rig too. Using an M.2 card to 6 SATA ports is the party trick for that one.

I noticed someone on Reddit said there's a mesh side panel knocking about on one of the Philippines retail marketplaces, for this case. It does look to match the rear panel and I think it improves the look of the case but I know that's subjective. :p

Sorry yes it arrived, haven’t got round to taking any pictures yet but love the case. Does everything I need.

I've just been looking at the Jonsbo Z20 and the D32 pro as more space efficient options to move an old system into. I really like the idea of this style of micro ATX case, only slightly larger than a lot of mini ITX cases, but get to avoid the extra cost and restricted options of needing an ITX board. One of the attractions of the Z20 and D32 is that they should fit in the standard Ikea Kallax unit my TV sits on...

The Lian Li A3 is similar I guess, but doesn't look as good imo plus it's actually a bit bigger.

Wondering about ordering one, shame there doesn't seem to be anywhere UK based to buy them from.

If you google it, youi should be able to find one shop that has it. But only in black I think.

I've found one shop that's out of stock, but also found a European shop that might be restocked with Z20 tomorrow if I believe their website, and has the D32 pro in stock... might give it a couple of days and see if the Z20 comes in stock as I think that is my preference atm, if not I might give the D32 pro a go.

Have seen a few other options for similar sorts of cases like the Inter-Tech IM-1 Pocket (more expensive, not much info about it), Asus Prime AP201 (looks good imo, but slightly bigger than I want), Jonsbo D31, and a couple of other ones that are also out of stock, but think I'm set on the Z20 or D32 pro now. Might look at the D30 again too actually.

I have actually ordered one now :) . Came in stock somewhere UK based yesterday fortunately (although delivery might be 2 weeks) - having looked again I agree it looks like the pick of the bunch, so looking forward to getting it up and running. Will be my first time building in a case this compact but the layout makes a lot of sense to me, and it's small enough that I'll actually be able to put it where I want.

Cool, share photos when you get it and build :)
