Thanks @ Tunney, I didn't realise that the N95 stuff was compatible with the n79. :) i'll take a look!
 
sim free £275 + 4% quidco

I think n95 uses s60 platform aswell that is why the software is compatible.

i went for the seal grey. i wasn't too sure that the white would get grubby or not so didnt wanna risk it. i'll post a couple of pics of it when i get it :p just out of interest, why did you go for this phone?

Size and packed full of features. Also really good reviews pushed me over :)
This will be my first nokia phone.

its my 23'rd. you wont be disapointed! :p

same reason why i went for it, although, i can see why it isnt a very popular phone, because its deemed only a smaller brother to the N95 :p
 
I did order this phone and was looking forward to it, but it came broken the direction pad did not go left or down. Plus I wasn't sure on the keypad as it is very flat. I have sent it back and got a refund. The spec on the phone is very good.
 
Just got my phone today. Been playing with it all night. Meets all my expectation so far!

One thing im particular impress is the fact i have been playing around with it for about 4 hours straight and ive still got full power bars!

wicked. does the wifi work ok? how about the web browsing?


cant wait. cancelled my order at ex****** who were messing me about. and reordered at mphone.

gonna take another few days.
 
Wifi works fine. connected to my home and work wireless no problem.

Web browsing is ok but thats maybe im use to a bigger screen. Same with the keypads, coming from a full qwerty phone, i find typing slower.

The phone is highly customisable. There is a lot of settings you can tweak. Fail that, there are a lot 3rd party apps you can install.
 
I've had a n78 for a while now. Its basically the same phone but the camera isn't quite as good and the keypad is a bit spacky. The FM transmitter features is absolutely awesome. I can't tell you how many times its comes in really useful.
