just ordered SSD Help!

I have currently got a WD HDD with windows Vista 64bit.

I have just purchased Windows 7 upgrade and an SSD. I am wondering when I receive everything how i go about having Window 7 in SSD and then setting up HDD as a slave drive for media and documents?

Would I have to install Vista onto the SSD then perform the Win 7 upgrade on the SSD?

Then create the WD as slave and remove the vista off it? As I don't want to reformat the WD due to it having a lot of music etc on.

Says I need to perform a Custom Install on website.

Thanks for that. So once i have done the windows 7 install on ssd. How to i go about removing all the old windows files from old HDD

I just want to have os on SSD. And then keep my document and music on HDD but get rid of the old os to increase size on hdd

Left external HDD at home. So i shall do what you have said below then when back from uni shall do a reformat
