Do cheap sunglasses damage your eyes? Pull the other one. You don't go blind without eye protection. Millions of years of evolution has lead to the human eye being able to cope with sunlight.
Oh and those shades posted buy the OP and the overpriced ones posted by Nitefly look superhomogay.
I think the problem is because they are dark your pupils will open more so more sunlight would get into your eyes than normally would since usually your pupils would be smaller if there is bright light.
