Just over half way through the group stage - who's looking likely to win it?

25 out of the 48 group games have now been played - who's looking strongest in your opinion?

I don't think there are many teams who really stand out at this stage - in fact the only team who have been convincing have been Argentina. Brazil played quite well but conceding a goal to North Korea shows they are beatable imo.

I would have said the Germans were looking the strongest before yesterdays performance - IMO this tournament is still wide open!

All the south American teams. European teams look to be flagging a bit from the long season - could see Spain recovering though - one bad performance was all that was, they still dominated.

Argentina, Brazil, Germany even though they lost, Spain as well...those are faves to win their groups.

Brazil are beatable...they always have been as they play attacking football...its the same with the Argies...alwasy going forward. I sometimes think that Brazil are a team that say come and score 5 goals against us but we will score 6...they arent scared of going forward...thats why i absolutely love them to bits because their football is far from boring.

Looking forward to their game against Ivory coast and Portugal.

I agree with those saying the Argies. They're looking the most dangerous right now.

Germans have a knack of coming through, as do the Iti's. Brazil are always a threat. Argies are the team to beat for me though.

Germany, Argentina or Holland. Holland are the least likely out of the three but the fact that they can play badly and still get a result makes them one of the favourites imo.

Argentina, and I have put money on it, but their relatively weaker defence compared to attack could be picked up on by one of the other good teams.

Brazil or Spain.

Argentina have a very good attack but they look woeful at the back and they're being led by a blind man. If they were being managed properly I'd probably pick them.

After tonights game between Brazil and Ivory Coast...im saying its either going to be Brazil or Argentina really...id pick Brazil over the Argies as defensively the Brazilians look solid which is a change from their past teams that werent so defensively minded.

Spain are an outside chance for me...unless they start finding the net soon they arent going to go very far.

Brazil for me, I think that they are the only team that can score goals and also defend solidly. They're a tougher team than Holland, Spain and Argentina to break down, and can turn it on when they need to.

Impossible to tell before all group games have been played. Some haven't even played two yet.

I think Italy will scrape through despite having drawn two so will england and spain will probably get a win tomorrow. However Brazil and the Argies look good bets. Any chance they'll have to play each other before the final?
