. That does sound kind of cool but scary though...Topic Title: I just melted my new Intel i7 processor, was getting temps of around 300C running 5Ghz. Was stable until the roof fell in and the gas pipe reached the flames.

Temps look allot better, get cpuz and show us a screen of that under load so we can see the vcore and not the vid, temps do look about average for a £20 cooler though. If we can get that vcore down your temps will follow. Also what motherboard are you using?
