so yeh first time ez as pie even got talking to the examiner about the bees disappearing. Ive also concluded that if you have a good instructor there's no reason to not pass first time.

hey congrats that is a great feeling! I passed mine when I was 18 if I recall, I'm now 35. I do remember hitting a curb, in driving snow and sticking the car in reverse at 50mph. But the guy said I showed due care and control and said I passed. :D By the way I am 6ft 8 and he was tiny. Maybe that had something to do with it..

heh nice...Out of interest, how many cars have you gone through since? :p

Passed first time too. (2 minors) One because I drove over a mini roundabout (smallest one ever and didnt have hardly any markings) another for going 5th - 1st gear. I was in a different car to what i had learned in, which was a scare at first but ok once i was relaxed.

I was more nervous on my lessons than the test

congrats. i passed first time. as soon as i passed i think i admittedly drove like a lunatic :( nearly stacked it many a time. on later occasions i did.

LOL easy tiger. Funnily enough I did write one off, but that wasn't my fault honest guv. I was hit on the A1 (before it was the A1M) as I was trying to cross it. Got hit at 70mph full in the side. This was before air bags and such. I remember the car spinning 360 and getting out calmly and collected. Was amazed nobody was hurt.

Congratulations, but that last part is utter nonsense.

Your likelihood of passing depends far more on the examiner than your driving instructor. In my experience there is an enormous amount of disparity in the leniency and judgement of examiners between different test centres. Where one examiner could pass a person with no minors, another would fail them with multiple major faults.

Remember driving on public roads is a privilege, not a right, and drive safe at all times.

Congratulations, it’s a great feeling when you pass. You now have the freedom of the road, the fun starts now but you have to work at it and don’t lose it. :)

Congratulations, I passed 1st time too since the examiner spent the whole test talking about Web Design :p

I failed yesterday, was going well with 2 minors then royally bodged hicksgate roundabout nr brislington. Brain fart I suppose, so frustrating to do so well and then fail the last 3 mins of the test. 6 weeks till my next one :(

This..

Your instructor wouldn't put you up for the test unless you're ready. It's down to circumstances on the day and the examiner
