apologies for the pants photo, had to use my iphone :D anyone have one? if so, your thoughts?

Are the fan sockets 3 or 4 pin? my case is full of Venom fans (7) which are 4pin socket.

2 Cpu
2 Top
2 Front
1 Side

Looks a cool screen, if it takes 4pin think i may have to get one :D

They're all 3-pin closed connectors but it wouldn't take much just to clip off the plastic to fit a 4-pin PWM plug

i chose this one specifically because it had the 3 pin connections, iv just ordered 5 new case fans, which shall be controlled by this

Any chance you could post a picture of the connectors just so i can see how close they are,if there to close i don't think they would fit after snipping the connector housing :(

Cheers for the reply guys :)

Sweet i thought the fans plugged in to the board for some strange reason doh, yeah that will be ok to do ive had to do that with some of my fan extenders :)

Cheers for the pic Kiel

i had the sentry lx fitted to my old system, it took up 2 bays and i hated it

it would often refuse to change the speed of fans and on occasion for no reason would throw all the fans up to full speed, nothing was over heating.

the reset buttom is far to large and is so easy to press meaning you lose your date and time settings.

hopefully your free standing one works better

just this second tested it, and yes you can turn them all off, i have left my cpu fans running off the headers on the board, and set all my case fans to this

can you turn off fans with this controller? i.e. when web browsing etc

Yes, however this means that you will have to put the controller into manual control.

Auto/manual isn't per channel, it's the unit as a whole so they're either all on auto or all on manual.

I suppose what you could do is set all your fan speeds on manual mode for just browsing and use it sort of like a preset. So you have it like this:

Manual - Web-browsing
Auto - Gaming/intensive usage.

Kiel - Does it remember any other settings like your manual mode fan settings ? If not kick it to RMA.
