Just played Bioshock demo on pc

This is indeed the most mature and well rounded view. Restricting yourself to a single platform makes no sense when they all have so much to offer.

Just a shame you end up with a huge PC sat on the floor, and two or three games consoles sat under the TV.. lol

I've currently got a PS3 and Xbox360 sat under my TV and a PC in my spare room connected to yet anoher 42" plasma..

Missus has a wii connected to her TV and the old boy has a PC and a Xbox360connected to his 36" LCD...

All well an good but it just means you have consoles and gamepads..

Well I play on both - more variety. Why restrict yourself?

This.

I stopped PC gaming almost a year ago now. Just wasn't enough games to warrant me keeping my gaming PC. Now i just use the 360, PS3 and laptop.

I'm still tempted every so often to build a cheap i5 PC considering the prices, but the more I think about it the less reasons I can think of to justify it.

If you can afford it, get a gaming PC and a 360/PS3. Whole library of games will be open.

The reason I prefer fps's on Pc is because of PC controls Keyboard and Mouse!!!

One reason why I junked my PS3 in favour of PC. Just don't like playing FPS games on controllers. Only thing worth keeping me on console was racing games but with the PC hooked to the TV I can play racing games on the PC.

Restriction in games isn't an issue for me.

TF2 is amazing, still not seen a game as good as this on consoles (TF2 sucks on xbox)

- Balanced classes (I enjoy playing every class, one doesn't feel OP)
- Brilliant map design (As good as maps can get)
- Very fun gameplay with simple yet amazingly fun objectives
- Beautifull, stylish graphics

Just ordered the game. Hmm, what game to try next. Any other gems like this?

I have mostly stopped playing these retarded games on PC, like BC2, CoD 1/2/4/5/6 lol, CSS, CS etc etc....

The PC shines on games like Arma 2, Black shark, Wings of Prey, Live for speed, rfactor, Richard Burns Rally, Football Manager etc etc etc

I was a bit late to pc gaming scene, and the first game i played on mine was HL2 back in 2004. :D What a great way to be introduced!!

I haven't bothered with consoles since. Never even bothered with the X360. The last one i bought was the original Xbox when it first came out, and i still use that purely for a media centre on my big tv.

If i can think of a film i wanna watch, i can download it and FTP it straight to the xbox . Its absolutely splendid for that.

I do agree that it is silly to limit yourself to just one platform. I think a lot of pc gamers are pretty snobby and look down their nose at the console boys. bit petty imo.
