Just punctured my freezer...

I just stupidly stabbed a hole in my freezer with a knife trying to clean out the ****itload of ice that was everywhere. Some gas sprayed out, I managed to compact some of the ice over the hole but it is still slowly coming out.

Im guessing the chances are that the whole thing is totally kapoot?

You might be able to get it re-gassed.

bummer, how long till it will be noticeable and we have to move the food out? Theres still loads of ice so hopefully the letting company wont notice and just think its old and crap and broke on its own...

It might still be OK. Cover it in silver foil and pieces of buttered toast to compensate for the lack of coolant*
