Man of Honour
Crispy Pigeon said:The judgment seems reasonable to me. I think that having to wear such a tag would humiliate her and that's not what they're designed to do. The judge is allowed to take into account the defendant's individual circumstances when pronouncing most sentences and that's what this one did.
There should be some other kind of provision in place for her though. E.g., she could wear the tag somewhere else where it would not be visible when she went out.
So why not just give her a licence to commit crime then ?
She is a criminal and people have to pay the price for that, despite her ridiculous claims. I just wonder if her concerns are genuine or does she play the PC system with the help of a solicitor with legal aid on the brain ?
The provision should be you wear the tag or you go to prison my dear !
