Just reinstalled windows 7 on my new hard drive and it won't detect network

I literally didn't touch the ether net cable, my internet is still working on my phone, but it refuses to believe that there is a connection to a network.

Amy ideas peeps?

check the network connection in windows and make sure it doesnt say "network cable unplugged"

check that the LAN drivers are installed for the network card as well.

if you go to network and sharing center, once in there up the top left click on manage adapter settings and see if you can see your LAN connection in there, if not then the drivers will need installing for it

Yes, just installed a new hard drive, I booted from my old one and I've got Internet going to download drivers and install them on the new drive...

Although it does seem to think 1050 is my max resolution... instead of 1080

you need to install the graphics drivers too.
