Just reported a company to crime stoppers

Hi

I run a facebook group which advises xbox 360 RROD repair and iphone screen repair. I woke up this morning to see about 10 comments on my status of which some date back to over 6 months ago, linking to a rival local xbox company and saying that they are cheaper, here is a example.

So I'm pretty annoyed by this and leave a few comments, I also check their website out and find out its a shop in a town near me.
But what i also find is that they are advertising flashing of xbox and wii consoles to allow you to play copied games, they even say that they sell 3 copied games for only £10! big mistake.
I've now reported them to crime stoppers for illegal piracy, I hope something gets done about them.

Report their asses! - Report them to FACT and FAST. I am pretty sure there are other auths you can speak to.

Not sure crimestoppers are going to do anything unless they like wearing stockings on their heads or conning old folk

Yes you should have reported them. They are undermining your legitimate business by prodiving illegal copyright infringing services. If we let this slide our highstreets would end up looking like something out of Bangkok. Which is great if you want cheap tat, but destroys legal businesses.

There is a legal game shop just a few doors down the road from them too :rolleyes:
 
You need to find out who to report them to. Crimestoppers wont do anything unless there was a large number of people reporting them and even then could take a long time.

The police wont and I dont think they can do anything about it.

Really annoys me this sort of thing. The faster they are shut down the better.
