I have a Windforce 460 card atm, and it's oh-so-quiet 
Silence is golden, as they say. Don't think you can really go wrong with either MSI or Gigabyte from what I've read.
Not so sure about Asus or HIS. I mean I'm sure they're good cards, but not sure how quiet. HIS in particular is supposed to be a bit noisey.

I fear the point of this thread has been missed...
I fear there is no point in this thread as Gilly has already said in another thread the prices won't be falling any more in the near future.

maybe they want some ideas for their next This Week Only or one-day offers.
I'm just saying, there's money here if they want it. Only they can make the call whether or not my money is good to them or not.
not everyone can afford everything they want. sometimes, people ask for discounts, and sometimes they get them. maybe you don't, but maybe you don't have to.

What I don't get is why it bothers you? If OcUK get enough feedback and decide to run a good promo on the cards I mentioned, everybody wins.
But you seem to want prices to stay as they are... so I have to ask, have you recently bought one of those cards?
Instead of dutifully accepting what they're given.

No I haven't bought one of those cards actually, I'm looking for one of them but I just don't see posting on their forum changing their decision on sales. Maybe if like 100 people asked.

Actually many of us can afford these cards at their current prices, myself included.
What many of us have said is that they simply aren't worth the current asking price. I never intended this thread to be a "begging" thread, even if it has been interpreted that way (or maybe I just got trolled!)
Nope, all I was saying is "This is how much these cards are personally worth to me."
They don't have to listen nor lower prices. I know they'll do what's best for their business, as they should. The thread is pointless. Agreed! Let's have a group hug, now.
