Just seen an Owl get killed on the road

Tell me about it. There was one stood in the opposite lane on an NSL stretch and once I passed it went into my lane, the car that was following mounted the kerb at about 40ish to avoid it!HaX said:

Had a pheasant jump off a 10ftish high wall when i was learning onto my bonnet at about 35-40. Luckily the aerodynamic properties of my car quickly swept it up and over the roof only for it to get splatted by the car behind me.

although isnt the rule if you hit it, its only the car behind that can pick it up or am i confusing that with dear?
Sorry to hear about the owl, dont expect intelligent birds like them to do that sort of thing.
Remember when my dad came home with a pigeon in his front bumper, and he said oh wondered if it got away, didnt see it behind me after it tried to fly away
