I currently has an Iiyama e2773 60hz 27 monitor, now its great but how much better would that above samsung be? a little concerned about the inputs though hmdi and dp, how do yuo get 120hz off that from my gtx460 gfx card?

The 700 version of that has Dual link dvi

Yeah it does and would set me back another 60 quid or so, I would have the monitor for £200 as I have a perfectly servicable gtx 460 would have to be junked to make way for an AMD card.

DisplayPort to dual link DVI I've seen but not dual link DVI to DisplayPort.

Currently got a 24" Dell (S2409W) and the 27" Sammy's are an awfully tempting prospect! 3D, 120hz, be like Christmas all over again!
