I notice that and nothing I could do coz there were some of that leaf plantation in top of the water right where I don't want it to be.

Ray uses a 5DmkIII. Not sure if he's got 2 yet, but he used to use x2 5dMKIIs.

At one point I was using 3 bodies...

mkii had 16-35 and 85L, the mkii had the 35L.

I was inside in the morning and it was quicker just put camera down and pick up another.

Haha, what lenses?

Which photo :p

I have the Holy Trinity of primes which I use through out the day. The zooms are used during formals mostly and a wide angle to get the context shots. I am a prime shooter at heart.

Can you do me a favour please?
If I pass you a RAW, would you be kind to apply your processing methods to see if you can get the same effect as above? I think I need closure to myself as to where I might be going wrong and how I could improve.

TA :)

I can give it a go, but i am not sure what that will achieve. :)

Superb as always Ramond, love the shot of the little one looking round the corner. Have you found the mk111 to be a big advantage over the mk11 for your work.

The files are nicer, it feels both sharper and softer at the same time. As in the images are sharp yet the feel of it is that it is smooth. A very silky look.

The other things that I now LOVE (AF and AA filter side, lets leave that to the OTHER thread :p) but, something you don't know you miss until it is taken away from you is the Silent Shooting mode.

The latest wedding, I was given strict instructions on when i can and cannot shoot during the ceremony, and the registrar said if she had to repeat what she has to say it wouldn't be good (translation - I would be asked to stopped altogether) I put on the silent mode and shot when she said I could, and even took liberties when she said I couldn't. You do not notice how quiet it is until I picked up the other mkii and shot a few...

After that I got used to the noise, or the lack of it, i found it useful too during candids. Since I am not one of those people who like to pick off shots from afar like a sniper with a 200mm. I get in there with a 35mm. With the silent mode I am even more discrete than ever before, which is priceless.

It's great to see your pictures again Raymond, they NEVER fail to impress.

Will most likely contact you when I start planning my wedding :D

lol, thank you :)

Awesome mate, as always!

Thanks mate :)
