Just spent £1400 on a click of a mouse

I just spent ~£80 on clear front and side indicators and a chrome tailpipe cover for a car that I haven't even got yet :D.

I just bought a Nikkor 70-300 VR lens for my camera, £330ish.... only to have the clutch die on my car two days later :( Whole paycheck gone within 10 days... :'(

that Tele is beautiful. I love those guitars. When I did my work experience I played a 1952 reissue which was the nicest electric I've ever played

The latest thing i have splashed out on is;

2X twin dcoe webber carbs - £265 each
1X inlet manifold - £105
1X stage 3 cylinder head - £587
1X kent cam shaft - £329
1X Fuel pump - £67
1X Fuel Regulator - £32

All in one order.

Another member of the Les Paul fan club here. That's a lovely object in its own right whether it plays well or not!

If I was going to dent my savings significantly for a guitar it'd be a really nice classical. It's been on my virtual shopping list for years, but somehow I can never bring myself to wander into London and try a few. I fear I might end up spending far more than the notional 1k budget.
