Just started folding how do I know how many points I have?

You can use HFM.NET its an application to monitor your machines.

Thanks, I want to get into folding I like the team aspect and hope to be with OcUK team for a while!
EDIT: My names Boscoe(OcUK) and I tried searching but the only returned name was Boscoe for a saudiarabian team i think. I just started this morning so will me stats be there yet and will my name clash?

Your username should be fine as you're on a different team, if you search for a name like Dave or John you'll find loads of them. The stats will take a little while to update, but you should be on fairly soon.

Your name won't clash as long as you're the only one on Team 10. It takes 6-9 hours for the stats to update (i.e. if you submit something at 10am, it will take until 6pm for the stats to indicate the work done for "12pm" (noon), which is the timeframe between 9am and 12 noon.
What are you folding on? You'll want to use the right client. For GPU there's just the one AFAIK, but for CPU there's the older single-core clients, or newer SMP clients which produce much more PPD if your CPU's fast enough (say 1.5GHz or faster, I'm sure someone will correct me on this if I'm wrong). And if your CPU's say 2GHz dual-core or faster, you'll get most points by running SMP with a -advmethods parameter (this will allow you to use newer A3 work units, which give a bonus for the earlier you complete them).
