Hi i downloaded the wow 10 day free trial today for the first time. What made me interested in wow is that i play DOTA quite regularly and would like the same experience....i guess that means i was looking for PVP action and also i was looking to join a guild and use some voice software to chat with my teammates.
After about 2h i am currently a level 5 human rogue....and boy....i did not enjoy those 2h at all. Killing 10 wolves and then killing 10 kobold creatures, then killing another 10 and then another 10....basically it just equated to creeping in Dota but without any human player interaction.
So i asked a friend about this and he said that the stuff i wanted to do like Raids and quests involving a lot of people and use of teamspeak software or the like would only come in the later levels. He said that warhammer online would offer PvP straight from level 1.....but unfortunately i don't think my laptop is up to this....intel GMA 950 graphics chip.....
So my question is: how long do i have to play to experience what i want from wow?
I was thinking of buying an account. They seem quite reasonable theres one on ebay for about £80 for a level 80 rogue with full epic gear (lol i don't even know what epic gear means, but im guessing its special items that u have to play for hours to get.)
also i need to know what u do once you reach max level and have done the quests? can u still do quests with other people etc?
