just started to play wow

You've joined WoW too late to get the most out of the game. If leveling bores you now (and trust me, you're NOWHERE in the game, you haven't even started until you hit the 40's.), it will kill you in the end. Then you will join 'raids' that is so easy it can be pugged. The sense of accomplishment is long lost in the game. It's one long great grind, rep faction grind, PVP points (don't even remember the name for it anymore), gear grind, mats grind etc etc.

I'll advise you to play and see for yourself if you like this or not. All I can recommend is to not to get too involved in the game. I did, and it was not worth it in the end. I'm still friends with a lot of old WoW buddies, some who still play. All they talk about is old raid war stories of some kill or some wipe we had, moaning about certain mats that's hard to find, epics that refuse to drop, areas that is over farmed, people in the community or guild not pulling their weight, a healer that is too slow off the mark, a tank that cannot keep agg, a stupid DPS that cannot stop pulling agg, etc etc etc. It can take over your life. Be warned.

Another thing, leveling can be done at your own pace, which is fine. The moment you hit level 80 and still want more out of the game, it becomes a second career where 3-4 hours at a time is the absolute minimum you have to invest every single day, to not get left behind.

okay.....i still haven't played more wow. yes, i was a human rogue. still level 5 i think.
built the new computer and damn that x1950gt card is noisy!
so im 6% though the WAR trial download.....
i will decide which one takes my fancy.

answer to the op, always level your first character, there are allot of fun quests but it takes time, if the rewards wernt great 11 million people wouldnt play, and growing, there allot to learn from 1-80, and you wont be able to learn if you dont level a character yourself.

if you ever need advice im on silvermoon, just create a character on silvermoon and tell me on this thread and ill add you on friends and whisper you
