Im wanting some homeplugs but not sure if they will work in our house as im not sure about the wiring.

My plan was to buy some from *** - see if they work. If they do take them back the next day get a refund and buy some from OcUK. But ive just been told No Competitors! wont give refund if its been opened. Is this true?

I've been given refunds on open products before. If they refuse just come back the next day and say they're faulty.
