Just tryed Crysis

off topic a little, someone needs to add some new guns to crysis, would kill for a P90 with PROPER sfx, they sound fabulous
 
admitedly I've only played it for about 1 hour on a friend's PC but after about 15 minutes I was bored out my skull and just carried on because I was waiting for her to get out of the shower.

I mean, It's just so average in my opinion. Graphics are ok, and not what they appeared in the screenshots. Like some trees are pixelated 2D which is just awful and the AI seemed very very weak even on the hardest setting.

I don't know, it just felt average to me. CoD4 on the other hand was quite a bit more interesting but then I've never played the other 3 CoD games so this was a new style for me.

I still haven't bought/downloaded crysis and don't feel I want to play it at all

I tried as an experiment to install COD4 on my #2 rig.

Its a p4 Sct 423 (The old one) 1.7ghz which is well below the system requirements on the box, 512MB RAM and an aged VIA Chipset, the systems only saving grace is its 128MB 6800LE AGP card, hardly cutting edge.

I spent a good few hours on-line with it over the weekend playing in full (50 player) servers.

Obviously the graphics were set to low and I did not try to increase the settings but the game ran absolutely fine which very much surprised me.

That said, its a relatively old game engine, so why would it run poorly?

You have to much time on your hands. But your right on my pc ive got it all cranked up and never get any slow downs. will got some problems there.

Why play a pc game if ** round a girl's... arn't u ment to follow if she goes to her room/shower? lol.
