Just Watched X-Men 3 #no spoilers#

I thought it was brilliant, I think the second is still my favourite though.

I was a bit gutted they got rid of Cyclops early on but the ending was brilliant, and the bit after the credits was cool.
 
I thought it was an excellent film, but the last one was designed to be the last outing if not a beginning...

I belive Patrick has said he loves the role and is ready to hang up his starfeelt uniform for good, hugh/halle have both confirmed if they are asked back they wont hesitate.

Yeah the film cost about $150-200ish million dollars but its profiting from last I heard.

Lots of talk of an Extended cut Directors Cut due this fall on DVD. Figures since there seems to be a lot of parts perhaps left or held back.

Magneto films apparantly about before his evil days as when he was a child discovering his powers....

The wolverine films not a prequel or sequel but will follow on with his own unique story....

For Xmen though its sad and unknown the spoiler at the end has given everyone hope... but its all up to Fox and I think thats the worst thing ever !

Lots of marvel goodness still to come we got spiderman 3, and then next year its all about Fantastic four 2 in the summer release..... not to mention Magneto/wolverine and then Hulk2 oh and Iron Man.... and Ghost rider, new Blade TV series (not wesley snipes) proberly few ive missed too!

There was talk of a Silver Surfer Film and even (I know not Marvel but!!) a Green Lanturn film and also a New Phantom (The Ghost who Walks) due for 2007... :cool:
 
Not a Spoiler (cause its in the trailer and has been mentioned already!!)... But I've just been mooching around in Google earth... playing with the 'Measure' tool... Now between towers the Goldengate is 3/4mile... But from the West tower to Alcatraz its 3 miles... How did he do what he did as in the Sat photo it was still connected to SanFan???... :confused:

Did he streach it or summut!...

Other than that it was a goo film!... Definatly getting added to my collection (if I can find the Extended version when its out!). :cool:
 
Yep in the end I did go with my mates and see this (On Saturday so this post is a bit late) and I loved it, action pretty much all the way through and Vinnie Jones gave me a couple of laughs. The end action scene wasnt too shabby either ;)

You will see the Silver Surfer.... next summer but in Fantastic 4-II ;)
 
They've broken the X-men franchise :(

I was quite enjoying it up until the moment about 40 minutes in when everything tripped over itself and fell over.
On the good side Beast and the tremendous special effects.
On the bad side some woeful dialogue, obvious story arcs and sketchy characters.

6 out of 10

Hopefully Bryan will be back to fix it. :)

As I was watching I thought that they'd got Alcatraz far too close to the mainland. Then the bridge crud happened.


Went to see it this evening. Didn't think that much of it and to make matters worse none of the surround speakers were working in the screen I was watching in. Plus I missed the section at the end of the credits :/

I watched this over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised.

For me, it's the best of the three. Special effects were top draw and the action was excellent.

8/10 for me. :)

Me and someone else in the cinema both shouted "GET OUTTA MY HEAD CHARLES!" after it - it was beautiful...like some kind of geek planetary alignment.
