What were the road conditions like?

Surprised if this didn't go to court for dangerous driving (depending on condition). To go that far he must have been going a considerable speed.

Fortunately if he got speeding or careless driving he won't be going to prison, but dangerous driving on the other hand...!

I haven't been notified of anything.

I'd of thought the evidence itself would have been enough to get a guilty plea. I don't really know what else can be said by the driver?

Road was dry and straight.

One question I got, why was the OP putting his foot down behind the subaru driver, as if you read the top of the post:

Pulling from a junction not long after an old impreza had gone through at some speed I put my foot down but soon realised he was pushing silly speeds away from me.

It seems like that the road is known for speeding then, but I am just curious about the reason the OP was looking to match the subaru speed??

The top of the window had come away from the door frame. I didn't really think and just pulled at it till the window snapped and shattered. Few tiny cuts to my hands for not thinking it through.
