Just won.....£430 from a casino

Can I just ask a noob question about bonus bagging.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to give it a whirl. I was just about to sign up to Victor Chandler Casino for my first go and I saw this on blackholebonus.com

Wager Requirement: Deposit x20 (£1000) + Bonus x0 (£0) = Total £1000

I thought the wager requirement would just be monetary value, could someone explain? Many thanks in advance.

I'd suggest reading the T&C of all the sites as blackholebonus seems to be a bit out of date. Basically, VC's current welcome bonus is if you wager £2500 you'll get £100 free.

I see, cheers. Is it still worth giving it a go then? That is such a scary number.

That's right. It's risky but I did well and they paid me no problems. Did Gala monthly today £55 down so only £45 profit this month.

Zedbets T&C are confusing.

In order to claim in free stakes the amount equivalent to your first deposit (up to €500) you must have wagered (staked) at least 4 times the initial deposit amount (or equivalent - see below).
On all zedbet casino/games, only individual bet stakes of at least 10% of your first deposit are valid wagers for the welcome offer (if claiming €100 welcome bonus, then this will equate to €10 bets or more).
For this promotion, the bonus amount must be staked with zedbet Casino and Games at least twenty times prior to withdrawal.

Ok, so if I deposit £350 I need to bet £35 each time. I understand that bit but the first quote and last are slightly conflicting. Do I need to wager my deposit £350 x 4 before I can apply for the bonus, then I need to play the bonus value x 20 before I can withdraw it?

I.e. 1. Wager £350 x 4 = £1400
2. Send email claim asking for bonus
3. Wager £350 x 20 = £7000
I must bet £35 for every bet for it to be included in the wager?

Damm. If the above is true may play with Golden Palace instead. 300% bonus for non-credit card deposit and 200% bonus for credit card. Wager 20 x bonus + deposit. So, I'd only need to wager ($100 + $300) x 20 = $8000/£4000 for about $300/£150 free compared to £8400 for £350.

Your choice mate. That one worked out well for me but it's more about luck. I lost £50 trying to get a monthly bonus from littlewoods today and £50 trying for Gala's bonus yesterday.

I'll give it a stab. Are all casinos bumping the wager like this? I don't suppose anyone knows of a casino with a smaller wager for a first timer like me?

Try £100 with VC and use Casibot. It's easy to use and you can watch it at the same time, just don't move the mouse.

With VC...
£100 deposit, and you get £100 bonus, providing you wage up to £2500.

Think of it another way...
Deposit £100 of your own money and bet £1, 2500 times. Any money you are left with at the end of £2500 worth of bets is raw profit (£100 bonus + whats left from your deposit).

I stormed from £100 to £124, I should have stopped it and took the £24 profit, then carried on but I left it to carry on, which leaves me with about £70, not far from the wager total of £2500.

Out of interest, to get the £100 bonus do I need to wager it on anything? Surely wagering the whole lot on a 'sure fire' sports result would reap more rewards? E.g. Euro 2008.

Oh, and if you are going to sign up to VC, sign up through QuidCo for an extra £40.

How do you get this to track out of interest?
When I click through on Quidco it takes me to the VCBet site, rather than the casino section.
Should I click through to the casino section, and then sign up?
Or, sign up via the bet site, then start playing casino?
Cheers.

I *think* I clicked on casino, then signed up. It tracked within 48 hours.

I've got VMWare running properly now, I was being a bit dim. Once I altered the resolution from 640x480 to something decent the VMWare was able to show the virtual machine screen at a big enough size for Casibot to pick up. You simply press Ctrl + Alt to release the cursor and off it goes! Truly wonderful! :)

LeadHead, I have had problems when using VMWare, it seems that the casinos cannot log how many hands I have wagered when I use this. Grrrr have you experienced any problems? I'm using XP

Forget all that, I must have entered the wrong password twice during the account creation or something. Can't figure it out.

I've created a new account because I can't be bothered for customer service to get back to me. The only thing is, I registered my old account through quidco and this new account too. While I'm not going to use my old account, will Quidco have a problem with me registering twice?

EDIT: I just found this in the terms and consitions for Victor Chandler:

11. Bets on any variation of Single Deck Black Jack, Baccarat and Craps will not contribute towards the bonus requirement.

So you cant bag the bonus there?

I'm just looking now and when I put from 1st May until 2nd June I've wagered 1202 and I've wagered another 500 today using VMWare and it's not counted them!

Time to email Customer Services I think...

Yeah, you play multiple deck blackjack instead matey. Just make sure casibot (if you're using it) is set to multiple deck on the drop down menu at the top (it usually is).

Oh yeah  When they said this was easy, they hadn't met me.

Before when you said try a deposit of £100, is there any reason why? I can't see a specific amount in the T&C, it just says deposit funds and play games to a value of £2500. Is it simply because £100 is the bonus, so if I lose my 100 quid and take the bonus, I break even? I would rather take less money out of my account you see.

Allows for variance. You could always deposit more if required but most stick to what ever the bonus is.

Right, I guess it doesn't really matter once you make the £2500 wager. But I think I'll slap £50 in there and if I need to, add more. It's irrational I know.
