Though i agree he has a very MJ feel about him, which isnt so much a bad thing - the songs really are nothing a like imo :)

I must be the only one who thought they sounded the same :( . I guess the first time I heard that song it reminded me so much of 'In The closet'

I got to hear this song a while back and have played it just recently to my fiancee and her brother... it's now on their phones as ringtonesand it's been played non-stop.
 
JT is basically a homage to a certain era of MJ; clothes, style, dancing. Which is no bad thing, as classic MJ is all-time classic music. And he carries it off rather well.
 
After several listens I can say I love it more than Justified now, a truely cracking albumn.
 
I know so many people who love this guy. I just don't see the fuss, to be honest. I can see that he's clearly a very talented man. I just guess the music doesn't do very much for me.

No you weren't.. :) I noticed similarities too.

Haven't heard any of the new album yet, but much admit Sexyback had to grow on me and I now love it.

Despite my first thoughts being I thought it was a girl singing it :o

Definitely a very good tune, i cant say im a massive fan of his...his first album had some good tunes on it but nothing i thought was amazing. With his new one the first single i thought was very weak, seems like hes changed direction slightly but this new single My Love with TI is one of those tunes that has grown on me...so much so that ive been playing it constantly lol:p. The rap that TI does puts the icing on the cake although i thought perhaps putting Ludacris as the guest rapper would have been better as his voice would have suited the tune etc but thats my opinion.
I do like the tune though, i like the human beatbox that JT does, does it very very well i think.
The video isnt too bad either although JT seems to be on some other level when it comes to his dancing, has some great moves.

Just remembered its produced by Timberland, no wonder it sounded familiar. First he has a hit with Nelly Furtado Promiscous girl and now this...very timberland-esque...i had a feeling this tune was done by Timberland.

So I guess I'm the only one who thought it was a poor, monotonous, bog standard pop song that didn't stand out at all ? :(
I listened to the music channels last night for the first time in months and I think that pop music has taken a dive recently, with the new Take That songs, Justin Timberlake, that guy from Blue - all very bland and average in my opinion, I'd never EVER consider buying any of it.

bit of a grower the album - was not particularly blown away with it at first but after a couple of listens - it starts to grow.

Good album and some very interesting sounds on the album.
 
I really dig JT, but have to say the new effort is not a touch on Justified! None of the choruses really grabbed me like many on justified, and there werent really any hooks that I couldnt get out of my head - most were very generic forgetful tunes. A shame. Hopefully for his next effort he will work on his song writing a little more.
