Freak accident for Justin Wilson in the Pocono Indycar race was hit in the head by a flying nosecone from Sage Karams crashed car. Was KO'd and hit the wall with echoes of Massa in 09.

He's gone by chopper to hospital. Fingers crossed for him.

The velocity of that combined with the weight of the part I'm really concerned for him tbh, Massas one was a small spring. This was more like Surtees one.

The speed and frantic activity of the medical guys who got on the scene was worrying as well.

Hopefully it didn't hit him full on.

Been checking the news constantly as I thought this would be announced after seeing the crash, always in the faint hope it wouldn't be.
