Finally got my HTPC working and all I needed to do was connect it to JVC LT-32DS6bJ, which I thought would be the easy part. However I've gone through all the settings in the nVidia control panel and just can't get a picture on my LCD. the nVidia control panel detects the LCD tv, and every time I change a setting the LCD does flicker as to accept the changes, but I can't get a Vista desktop to display on it.

Specs are

AMD BE 2400
2GB RAM
Abit AN-M2HD

I'm using the on-board HDMI connector on the board which has GeForce 7050 chipset built in.

Any ideas or some tests I can do?

The TV was bought back in 2005, will it be to old to connect to a HTPC?

It's running on 1360*768 (720p). I've currently got a 19"tft connected via the VGA output which works fine (using it now).

Will try that res tmr. Have tried both Clone and Extended, made no difference. The only thing that made a difference was changing the colour output from RGP to something like yyyyy :p which made the screen go all green.

Yeah, ditch the VGA monitor and connect via hdmi only then shutdown the PC and restart. Bingo, you'll get the picture. Its probably trying to run extended desktop or something.

Flashed the BIOS to the latest version and no difference.

Change the res to 1024x768 shut down, unplugged the VGA TFT and plugged in the HDMI LCD and same again, no image, just a one flicker whilst the PC is booting up.

Going to take the box to my brothers and hook it up to his HDMI TV and see if it works on that. It's either the TV or the Motherboard. :(

Does your TV support 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI? Also, is it HDCP compliant?

HDCP handshakes seem to be causing a lot of problems at the moment, particularly on older sets that weren't designed to be used as "monitors".
