kk is different to k. It's like saying okay twice. There's more of an action to it than just saying k.

Ending every sentence with "lol" can be more annoying, I assure you.

Seconded, just look at these forums for example, people seem to laugh out loud at the end of most sentences.

This is only topped by one other Internerd pet peeve, people who actually SAY the acronym! When I heard someone say it over Vent once I thought he was kidding around, but in fact the retard used it as an adjective/verb... god knows what!!!
