K70?

Any opinions on this keyboard with blue switches?

I'm more interested in a good keyboard for typing than a keyboard for gaming than anything else really.

I recently returned my Logitech G910 as it felt like cheap plastic crap and the layout was horrible where I kept hitting the G keys instead of ctrl/shift/tab, the RGB backlighting was the best I've ever seen on a keyboard with no garish backlight bleed around the keys like many other brands, but ultimately it's purely an aesthetic gimmick because I don't look at the keys when I'm using my keyboard so I'm not really bothered about having a keyboard with that feature.

Do you think the K70 would be suitable for me? I really like the fact it has a metal body and a proper USB hub build into it.

I suppose it depends on what your budget is ?....myself I would go for a Ducky Shine,I always felt that the K70 is very noisy and it rattles a lot But as you said you like the USB hub.

Hey I said I was interested in the blue switches, noise is absolutely not my concern.

Think mine has the red switches, I found it to be quieter than my old Razer Blackwidow.

I like the build quality and generally it's good for gaming and typing, gets my seal of approval.

If build quality is a priority, find a board with PBT keycaps.
