k700i menu help

I got a nice shiny v3i about 20mins ago and would like to copy any contacts from my old k700i's memory to the SIM card so that i know theyre all there. I'm not sure if there are any on my phones memory but i wanna make sure.

Trouble is the joystick hasnt worked for about 5 months now, so i cant get to the 'Options' at the top of the phonebook. (I cant do anyhting with the joystick at all)

So can anyone figure out a way to get to that option that doesnt involve using the joystick? You can go thru menus by hitting the number of the item on the list you want to go through - thats how i've been surviving

If you have access to a pc with bluetooth or you have a usb cable for it then get yourself a copy of floats mobile agent http://fma.sourceforge.net you can do pretty much anything with it without having to touch the phone.

EDIT: Just out of interest is there a way to see what numbers are stored on the phones memory and what are on the SIM? (On the k700i)

Hmn looks like i started off using the SIM on the k700 then when i added people or changed stuff it changed it on the phones memory :/

How can i like merge them?

you should be able to do just about all that you need with floats. including merging the phonebooks

I'm such a muppet. All i needed to do was use the phone keypad controller on Floats (so i could go thru the phone menus and copy to SIM) but i didnt spot it until i ****** around with working Floats out for like an hour

I bet i lost all my numbers anyway!!

Will Floats work with my v3i at all? It's fairly funky
