k800 Networking (Live Messenger), Need help :(

Hello there i have windows live for my k800i which i downloaded from:
http://www.mess.be/ > Downloads > Messenger Clients > Windows Live Messenger for Mobiles.

But when i try to log in it asks if i want to connect to the internet so i click yes, and it says "Network Disconnected, Try again later". I have googled it and iv not found any fix appart from a few people asking the same thing that i am.

I have some connectivity settings in my phone settings like internet profiles (PAYT WAP, PAYT INTERNET) etc but i have no idea what any of them are.
Oh and allso im on vodafone.

If any one knows what i can do id be greatful.

I thought Windows Live Messenger was only available in certain countries at this moment in time. Might be why you are having no luck?

i thaught that too untill my friends got some new sony erricson phones (model below mine i think) and it came pre-loaded onto it, so i downloaded the exact same version which is compatable with my phone and it doesnt connect or anything :S

Can you connect to the internet for other functions e.g. just browsing?

If not, you should be able to visit the vodafone support site from a pc and have profiles sent to your mobile number.

I could with Virgin anyway - I'd imagine that feature must be standard with most networks.

the internet works fine for browsing etc but not for live messenger :S
