k850i o2 upgrade customers

my upgrade is due soon. Any existing o2 customers got a decent deal on the k850i with 02 through retentions?

Failing that, any decent deals on the k850i at the mo? Looking for 12 months contract and under £20 a month at most. Currently paying £15 for 200 min and 400 txts with o2 as an existing customer.

Will be my third year but it all depends on my monthly spend, which isn't a lot tbh. blueacid deal sounds good but ideally like a 12 month contract. Will give them ring and see what they say.

I was on:

500 texts.

I got:
K850i free
18mnth £20
Unlimited o2 to o2 calls (well, 2000 mins fair usage limit)
400mins to landlines/other networks
1000 sms.

It's basically their "online 30" tariff, see the website, but with a £10 a month discount applied. Hope this helps!

Always go through the retentions department, all the upgrades department can offer you is what you see on the website - i was told that by someone in the upgrades department last week.

The only tip i can give is to be polite but firm, point out that you have been with them for a while and thus deserve a better deal than new customers. Try aiming for something you know someone else has as well, for example i got:

£100 cashback on my first bill
400 mins
1000 texts
£20/month

what contract did you have before? is that 12 or 18 mths?

they offered me a similar tariff with either:

1) £20 a month, 18 mth contract OR
2) £25 a month, 12 mths contract.

with a free phone but I was not happy as I only like 12 mths contracts so they are processing my pac code and should receive it via text within a few days.
