My K850i is really doing my head in at the moment,on friday it decided the touch sensitive button decided it would stick on....so the fone constantly goes menu > messages > write messages and i have about 40 messages with 4 letters in my drafts.

I can't use the phone at all really. I have opened it up and cleaned the contacts etc but still no use.

I have the orange cover on it which i have claimed before for when i dropped it and the screen cracked completely,they didnt charge us the £15 "admin" fee thing then and i think they would now if i did(which i can't afford at the moment). Is there anyway i could take it up under the manufacturer warranty as it isn't my fault and i don't recall dropping it(was on a night out).

What would be the best way to go about things? Hating this phone now.
 
Depends how long you have had it. my k800i developed a fault about 15 months - went to voda (i had insurance) and they said they can do it under warrenty first (no charge) and if there is an issue which can't be fixed (i.e. say it is broke cos I dropped it) then it would be handled by the insurance.

Long story short - hopefully, yes!
 
Well I've had it since late november,so not that long. Dropping it and cracking my screen = my fault so i claimed the insurance.....but this just seems ****** up!

So much for the £150 buyback being deducted from my bill aswell...apparently a shop issue rather than an orange issue?
 
They just seem to cheap(having taken it apart) in search of good looks. I had a K800i before for a bit and it was solid. Also had an old 6680 which was a tank.....got a 6280 with a broken screen.

So i should try with the manufacturer first yeh?
