Kaby Lake Pentium G4620 - has it got hyperthreading?

Engineering samples of this CPU sometimes came with hyperthreading. It's mentioned on CPU world here:

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_Dual-Core/Intel-Pentium G4620.html

OCUK website makes no mention of it. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/inte...ocket-lga1151-processor-retail-cp-62m-in.html

Can someone confirm whether it's made it into the final chips?

A 3.7GHz dual core Kaby with HT might do alright in a budget gaming build.

Edit: According to CPU world, the following Pentiums have hyperthreading:

Pentium G4560 2 / 4 2.9 GHz 3 MB 35W HT >
Pentium G4600T 2 / 4 3 GHz 3 MB 35W HT >
Pentium G4560 2 / 4 3.5 GHz 3 MB 54W HT >
Pentium G4600 2 / 4 3.6 GHz 3 MB 51W HT
Pentium G4620 2 / 4 3.7 GHz 3 MB 51W HT

Mother of god. It look like all the G4xxx kaby lake pentiums come with HT enabled.

This is actually about the most interesting progress Intel have done in the consumer range in some time.

£65 for a 3.5Ghz 2c/4t chip.

G4520 downwards don't have HT.

Yeah they are up to there standard naming shenanigans.

To make it confusing for the casual buyer only the Kaby lake Pentiums G4560, 4600, 4620 have HT.

Skylake G4xxx do not have HT. Neither do the Kaby G39xx.

I'm sorry, how is this Intel naming shenanigans?
What relevance is it that Skylake Pentiums don't have HT.

From your link it shows all Kaby Pentiums having HT, and Kaby Celerons not.
How on Earth is that shenanigans?! That's pretty simple and constitutes actual progression with the Pentium line!

It's not easy to spot. How is your average consumer to note that the G4520 and downwards are 2/2 skylakes and above are 2/4 Kaby Lakes?

I didn't notice.

It's as simple as it can be.
They're different lines of CPU.
If there was half of the Pentiums with HT and half without, then I can understand, but that's not the case.

The product specification says 2 Cores and 4 Threads on OCUKs product page. OCUK are using a duff Pentium box picture, but that's not Intels fault.

It looks confusing when presented on CPU world as a list:

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_Dual-Core/Intel-Pentium G4620.html

Pentium G4400T
2 / 2
Pentium G4500T
2 / 2
Pentium G4400
2 / 2
Pentium G4500
2 / 2
Pentium G4560T
2 / 4
Pentium G4520
2 / 2
Pentium G4600T
2 / 4
Pentium G4560
2 / 4
Pentium G4600
2 / 4
Pentium G4620
2/4

Just from the numbering - how is an uneducated consumer to tell how many threads one of these has (or indeed which one is Sky and which one is Kaby)?

Anyway - on the bright side, these seem like the obvious choice to me for anyone looking for a £60-100 CPU to put in an affordable gaming build. They are the most significant and exciting change in the Kaby Lake lineup compared to Intel's previous lineup.

I know, it is progression, I said as much 2 post up to that one! (It wasn't a sarcastic post)

I'm talking about mixing Skylake and Kabylake under the same G4xxx series.
Eg G4520 non HT, G4560 with HT. It is purposefully unclear differentiation.
