Kaby Lake Pentium G4620 - has it got hyperthreading?

Another thing that's interesting about this, is it may force AMD to undercut it with the AM4 Bristol Ridge lineup. That could sting a bit, assuming AMD will be shipping in volume.

TBF,most of the market for the G4560 probably won't need ECC support,but for a budget gaming build,or for media duties it does look like one of the best budget CPUs Intel has released for a while - better than the Pentium G3258 IMHO OFC.
 
Can anyone give a very quick overview of ECC please? It take it I won't need it for a budget home build?
 
its a shame the cheapest mobo for the Z270 is £113 and you cant get a Z170 to work unless you have a supported cpu and can do a bios update (thats if there is even one for the mobo you buy)
